Afternoon Ferry Photo by JP O'Neill Took this as part of my coursework in the early nineties. I can't remember the topic, but I somehow managed to make it a compilation of my favourite Liverpool icons. I chose black and white to add as much of a timeless quality as possible. This is a scan of the orginal print which has been left to age in the loft. Whether i didn't leave it to fix long enough or the the paper was cheap, i dunno, but the images have aged in a way it would be difficult to recreate. The smell of fresh, hot, donuts still reminds me of the old Pier Head. My Mom would always take us for a walk to see the boats after a day shopping. It stll gives me great pleasure to return to the river whenever possible. Enter your picture Back to images menu More Community images: |
