Of Time and the City music

1. Can the details of the music used in the film be put on this site
2. Are we going to be able to buy the music soundtrack?

Thanks,

Barry Mason

Re: Of Time and the City music

I wrote a series of anecdotes around my life in Liverpool, at the urging of my adult children. They came to realise how different my life must have been to their own, and they wanted to know more of my (and therefore, of their own) origins. (I have lived in Canada since 1964; my wife and my 3 children are Canadian). I have about 30 of these committed to the record, ranging from a couple of pages, to about 10 pages, in length. If anyone is interested, I would be happy to make them available for them to read, no obligation. There is a lot of history in there.

Re: Of Time and the City music

When I clicked on this website's music tracks and was allowed to hear Faure's DOLLY SUITE --- this phrase rushed into my mind after being hidden from nearly 60 years ago:
"ARE YOU SITTING COMFORTABLY? THEN I'LL BEGIN ---"
Listen With Mother, good Lord.

I'm not a 'Pudlian at all, but visited friends there in the mid sixties, when it really did seem that you could smile and talk to whoever was sitting next to you in a pub. I remember Paddy's Market, where you could buy a huge half-carcasse of beef wrapped in muslin, as the guy showed it to you quickly behind the doors of his van --- .  And you could buy plain-cardboard boxes of detergent from the shops -- plain grey cardboard, before Levers had a chance to print their ownership on them!  Percy Street and the Crack "Ye Olde Craic" and the famous Phuilly toilets.  Well, I am really looking forward to seeing Time and the City, having glimpsed just a brief trailer -- it latched onto me in an instant.  God bless the city.
